  1. Thanks for all of your work on this stuff. I am struggling with a related problem – one not covered in any of your videos that I've found. My problem is this: I cannot connect to my camera as a non-Admin user! I guess that since EOS Utility had to be installed by an Admin user, it has decided that only the Admin user can run the app. ANy ideas on how to get around this?

  2. Super helpful – I just updated to El Capitan and this worked to fix the error message I would receive upon clicking on it ("cannot be used with this version of the operating system"). Thanks for the help !

  3. It's a great trick. And do you have a similar one for Canon PowerShot S95 Camera Window utility?
In the Contents folder it doesn't have the SupportedApps tab… 🙁

  4. Thank you for posting. I have just used my old Canon EOS 400D for the first time in years and was stumped on how to resolve this but found your video and now am operational 🙂

  5. Thank you, you legend

Edited: I'm actually still having a problem, when I try and connect via wifi it still comes up with the same issue!
